Portes ouvertes Jurançon

The Jurançon Grape Harvest Festival: Open-cellar events at winemakers

Jurançon, the wine of kings, and the king of wines! Just as Henri IV of France is reputed to have done at the time of his baptism in Pau, come and moisten your lips with its dry or sweet white wines at the Fête des Vendanges grape harvest festival in Jurançon.

Get yourself deep into the vineyards to the south-west of the capital of Béarn between 10 in the morning and 6 in the evening for a day of shared pleasure and good humour that is a treat for all the senses as Jurançon celebrates the harvest of the season’s grapes. A perfect Sunday for all epicureans and lovers of the good life!

And to perfect the experience, take the Jurançon Wine Route that links around 60 estates at the heart of the hilly landscape that fringes the line of Pyrennean summits. Fancy spending the weekend here... and perhaps a little longer? The Cœur de Béarn Tourist Office will help you to tailor your stay.
