Around the vast and beautiful hall of the fortified town, this weekend will enable you to discover more about the fruits of the countryside between Bergerac and Cahors, to sample roasted chestnuts or giant cep omelettes on site, or even to take away (like lots of other delicious products!) thanks to the local producers present for the occasion.
Highlights of the event: the parade and swearing-in of regional guilds, award-winning Chestnut markets and, weather permitting, the Ceps, bicycle or hiking tours, local crafts market, competitions for the best Chestnut cake and old-fashioned Chestnut harvesting.
And the best of the fun and games for you: the Chestnut spitting competition whose winners appear in The Guinness Book of World Records, the music of Bandas, folk entertainment and the Chestnut Ball on Saturday night!
