A village with less than 700 inhabitants receiving almost 50,000 festival-goers last year, thanks to the work of a handful of people who love their region, music and live performances. The organizers forever focus on the atmosphere and spirit of this gathering: cheerfulness, sharing, eco-friendliness and delighting the senses!
Already enchanted? Well, you’ll be even more so with the eclectic programme on the cards where nationally- and internationally-renowned performers mix with up-and-coming talents. Some 90 music and street art bands, groups and companies will take to the stage for this 30th edition. Among them, Orelsan, Caravan Palace, Patti Smith, Skip The Use, Patrick Bruel, Boulevard Des Airs, to name but a few…
And, there’s also the “atlas luxois” just waiting to be explored, the laid-back concerts at the Théâtre de Verdure (sylvan theatre), the explosive shows at the Scène des Sarmouneys, the feverish atmosphere at the Espace Pin and the effervescence of the Scène Saint Roch, the area devoted to street arts (circus, aerobatics, theatre, dance as well as comedy!). A whole world to explore!
Our little extras:
why not rent a tepee and a sleeping kit at 200 m from the festival entrance,
the “C'est beau un village la nuit” Pass which enables you to watch the concerts from the passageway overlooking Sarmouneys’ Main Stage and enjoy a breathtaking view, plus a welcome cocktail and dinner in the Festival restaurant,
the "Apérue" offered on Saturday 17 August at midday at the Imprévu, to meet the street artists present at the Festival and chat with them about projects initiated by the Grand’Rue des Arts de la Rue Federation in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region,
and, last but not least, an invitation to find the house in the village which inspired the 2019 poster featuring a chicken musician and a fox juggler!
