Exhibition on “La déferlante surf”, emblem of liberty

In Bordeaux, the Musée d’Aquitaine presents “La déferlante surf”.

A sport which was born on the Atlantic Coast in Biarritz at the end of the 1950s. The exhibition showcases over 500 works: traditional Polynesian objects and contemporary works of art. Surfing is a whole way of life, based on pleasure, dreams and associated with nature, beauty and youth. … and liberty.

Open:
From Wednesday 19 June to 5 January 2020 from Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 6pm
Guided tours of the exhibition from 1st September, every Sunday at 3:30pm and every Wednesday at 3pm.
