Exposition temporaire « Sempe en Liberté »
Visitors will have the chance to admire over 300 original drawings. You’ll discover his illustrations of Petit Nicolas, which he created hand-in-hand with comics editor and writer René Goscinny, which has gained worldwide success with 15 million albums sold and translated into a hundred or so languages.
At the same time, he has constantly sketched for French and foreign press: Le Nouvel observateur, L’Express, Le Figaro, The New Yorker whose covers he illustrates. Here, we discover another side to him, that of a free man who reflects his view of the world, forever crowned with a touch of humour. And, oh it feels good!
In a nutshell, for those who love drawing it’s a pure pleasure. For those who adore Sempé, you’ll recognize the great poet and artist.
