This pond of 43ha is open from 16th of April to the 5th of November 2017 (for owners of the yearly license, it is open from the 1st weekend of Februar to the 17th of Dezember). The following fish species are to be found: carp, roach, tench, pickerel, zander, perch, grass carp, and sturgeon. You may go carp fishing but you have to release the fish afterwards into water. Angling and lure fishing (for carnivorous fishes) are allowed. Cars are not allowed to park near the water, just shortly to charge or discharge the materiel. The fishing licenses are sold at: the backery Chavannes (15 rue du 11 novembre 1918, in Cieux) and at the butcher Soury Franck (1 rue du 1 nombre 1918, in Cieux). The prices are: 18€ for a day, 22€ for 24 hours, 40€ for 48 hours, 55€ for 72 hours, 70€ for 4 days, 80€ for 5 days, 90€ for 6 days, 100€ for the week, and 320€ for the year.
The Émilie trail, which starts from the parking lot of the arboretum, is 6.4 km long. You will discover the arboretum and cross the forest of La Mothe Clédou.
