Bordeaux city is inviting all who love good food and wine, culture and festivals to come and have a great time along the two kilometre quayside on the banks of the Garonne, in the very heart of a UNESCO world heritage site.
"BORDEAUX FETE LE VIN", is moving to the left bank of the river, between the pont de pierre (stone bridge) and the Bourse Maritime, so that the thousands of visitors from home and abroad can enjoy the 4 day wine festival more than ever.
With the Pass DEGUSTATIONS, visitors can savour vintage wines from Bordeaux and the surrounding area all in one place, whereas the Pass VIGNOBLES takes them out for the day to see the landscapes, wine-growing estates and heritage of the Gironde and Aquitaine regions.
Come and discover the history of our region 20 million years ago, when Aquitaine was covered by the sea in a tropical climate...
The guided tour begins with the museum's collections (shark teeth, corals, tropical shells) and continues with a short walk in the forest beside a river where you can admire, among other things, thousands of fossils in the open air.
Respire Jazz festival is a must-see event in the heart of the Charente countryside. An atypical and original programme, covering all forms of contemporary jazz, with a mix of new discoveries and big names, not forgetting local artists!
The Respire Jazz Festival is a journey into the world of jazz and improvisation. It's a living music that's constantly evolving and we're here to reflect that.
A delicious blend of modernity and tradition, audacity and solid values. In every case, artists whose generosity and ability to share their music with all kinds of audiences is guaranteed!
Artistically free, we prefer to go for what we like best.
We dare to take risks, with an eclectic and demanding programme and a desire to showcase all forms of contemporary jazz. Getting close to our audiences is one of our top priorities.
It's better to make a reservation!
The 5th Salon D'Artisans at Château de La Mercerie invites you to Magnac Lavalette Villars. Come and discover beautiful handicrafts (leather goods, lighting, engravings, sculpture, sewing, jewellery, etc.) in the heart of an impressive château.
A great opportunity to make some great discoveries and start buying presents just a few weeks before Christmas ;)
Refreshments, snacks and a tombola will be available on site.
The young Côtes de Bourg wine growers organise a musical and tasting time during a night market in a huge parc close to the river.
Until 2:00 am, taste our French cuisine cooked by young farmer: oysters, meet, vegetable, enjoy it for low prices and a musical animation is planned throughout the evening.
Every Tuesday at the Théâtre de Verdure, a play will be performed in the open air in Collonges la Rouge
