Come and discover our show staged by Eric Le Collen which is based on the enthusiasm of hundreds of volunteers. It is performed in one act of 1hour30. It will carry you into the region of Aquitaine and Bordeaux of the Middle Ages.
One of the great chapters of the History of France: after marrying Louis VII in 1137, in 1152 Aliénor d’Aquitaine celebrates her wedding with Henry II Plantagenet, the future king of England. Afterwards, 3 centuries of quarrels. On July 17, 1453; the English General Talbot loses heavily the war against the cannons of brothers Bureau. This battle settles the end of the Hundred Years War.
Beynac, built on the cliffs along the Dordogne River, is today listed among the 'Most Beautiful Villages of France'.

🎻 The musicians
French cellist David Louwerse is renowned for his musical depth and remarkable technique. Trained at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, he is also a member of the Ensemble Variances and founder of the “Ault en Musiques!” festival.
Guillaume Hodeau, a passionate bandoneonist, studied with Argentine master Juan José Mosalini. Winner of the Piazzolla Music Award in Italy, he is renowned for his virtuosity and authentic interpretation of tango.
Double bassist Renaud Bary brings essential rhythmic depth to the trio, enriching the musical dialogue between Baroque and tango styles.

Cum Jubilo offers a unique experience, where music from the High Middle Ages meets contemporary creation. Under the artistic direction of Catherine Ravenne, the ensemble explores little-known but deeply enriching repertoires from the earliest musical manuscripts that marked the history of our Western music.
The all-female ensemble is also faithful to contemporary creation, regularly collaborating with current composers to extend this medieval tradition and offer new works inspired by this heritage.

Le Curieux Orchestre, a collective of young professional musicians, invites you to take a sensitive and playful musical plunge into the theme of water, with the program États d'eaux et d'âmes. This original creation recounts the water cycle through its forms, movements and symbols, in a dialogue between nature, emotion and imagination.
Comprising 15 young musicians from prestigious ensembles, the Curieux Orchestre blends flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, strings, percussion and piano to create a richly colored and textured work. Together, they offer a fresh, inventive rereading of great classical works and film scores, alongside original compositions.
🎶 États d'eaux et d'âmes takes you from the quivering of a drop to the power of a river, from fog to storm, with pieces such as Smetana's La Moldau, excerpts from Ponyo (Joe Hisaishi), Ravel, and the classic Singing in the Rain. An exhibition of the work of around thirty craftspeople in the magnificent cloister of the church of Saint-Martial in Chalais! A key event for arts and crafts in the South Charente, in Chalais.
Visitors can discover beautiful, unique, sustainable and ethical creations combining craftsmanship and materials. Decoration, tableware, jewelry and fashion accessories, one-off pieces and small series are the focus of this exhibition-sale! 26 artisans will present their latest collections and demonstrate their know-how and creativity.
A variety of events will punctuate the show: introductory workshops for young and old, musical evenings, demonstrations, shows, artists in residence and photography and painting exhibitions.
