Pougné-Hérisson is a legendary village engendering the tallest of tales. So tall, in fact, that the simple existence of this Poitou hamlet may appear uncertain, which is not the case! In mid-August, a Pougné festival indeed takes place, as a new capital abruptly rises out of its granite, desertified magma. The town in progress encounters urban growing pains as it turns into a place for citizens, words, exchanges, life in tribes, unsafe streets... It becomes not so much a city, as an ambitious megalopolis. In a preserved environment, the Rochefollet gite welcomes you all year long. With a capacity of 8 persons, this old farmhouse entirely restored with its large living room, its equipped kitchen and its 3 bedrooms will allow you to fully enjoy your vacations.

All our yoghurts and white cheeses are made on the farm with milk produced on the farm.

Quality requirement: at La Bazinière, we sow our land with grass and alfalfa in order to favour grazing.



Since 2004, we have developed an educational farm that welcomes schoolchildren and adults to discover our know-how: breeding with robotic milking, the milk chain from production to processing, the sale and the taste of our products.

The estate is open all year round and welcomes you in a peaceful country setting on the edge of the Chantemerle forest. The individually decorated rooms are equipped with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi internet access. Breakfast is served daily and other meals can be prepared on request. At the Oucherie farm, south-east of Mazières-en-Gâtine : Hélène Bailly visits her 60 chickens, who walk on a hectare of green meadow or take refuge in a mobile wooden hut. And for her first breeding experience, she wanted to convert directly to organic farming.

"It's a deep conviction. I wish to make the animals grow and breed them as well as possible."

I'm lucky to have companies nearby that supply organic seeds. I give them rice, corn, lentils, wheat... And sometimes potatoes from our organic garden," says the 43-year-old farmer. In addition, the chickens do not receive any vaccine or deworming agent other than naturel : "I only treat them with cider vinegar. »
