The Gîte du centre nautique is open all year round. 45km away from the ski resorts, this gîte accommodates 30 persons, whether as groups or individually (4 bedrooms sleeping 6 to 8/10 persons).
Note: accommodation does not include any nautical activity.

The gîte includes bedrooms sleeping 2 and 6 persons. Trainees will take part in community tasks. Please bring your own sleeping bag.
Log cabin village comprising 16 log cabins scattered in a park planted with trees and equipped with a swimming-pool, in a fenced and safe environment which is perfect for young children. Quiet and homelike atmosphere.
At the foot of the Pyrenees, at the confluence of the Ossau, Aspe and Barétous valleys, 5 minutes from Oloron Sainte-Marie, 60 dairy cows of all breeds enjoy the green pastures of Gurmençon.
Farm visits and direct sales of farmhouse cow's milk cheeses: Gourmançon and Henri IV's Crown, and their brothers: Petit Gourmançon and pouquets, plain and with peppers. Faisselle, fromage blanc and crème fraîche complete the raw-milk range. Farm churn butter made with organic raw milk. Organic since May 2019.
The Moulin d'Eysus is a majestic Bearnese residence located in a green setting among running whitewaters, that offers two charming bedrooms.
The base of the mill is the only part we could keep and the head race canal was reopened. Everything else was rebuilt using ecological materials, such as wood, lime, hemp...
A big glass slab embedded in the floor of the living-room will let you discover the canal and, soon, its trouts.
Description: a fully-fitted kitchen; a living-room with a lounge area and a fireplace; a toilet; a bathroom; a cellar with storage spaces and a washing-machine; a covered terrace with a barbecue and an ornamental garden. Upstairs: one bedroom with a double bed; one bedroom with two single beds; a toilet.
At the entrance of the Valley of Aspe, 10 minutes away from the Cathedral Sainte-Marie, the mill of Eysus, welcomes you in the gîte of the stone bridge, entirely restored, facing the old bridge built under Louis XV, a compulsory passage for the pilgrims of Saint Jacques. Bordered by a stream which flows just in front of the terrace, you will enjoy a calm and peaceful environment.
Ogeu can be explored and tasted. A must-try is Pastis Bourrit from Navarrine, a Béarn cake to enjoy with the whole family, accompanied by the bubbles of the mineral water produced in the village.
Ogeu is famous for its natural mineral spring, but it's also a typical Béarn village, with a rich heritage of buildings, narrow streets and numerous water-related structures: fords, bridges, wash-houses and canals. As you follow the meandering Gave d'Ossau through the Bois de Richette, you'll come across a number of brooks that feed the waters of this river, born at the foot of the Pic du Midi d'Ossau, before joining the Gave d'Aspe.
This route is proposed by the Comité Régional de Randonnée Pédestre. Departing from a train station or TER bus stop, it allows you to join a walking or hiking itinerary, and to take an ecomobility trip!

Discover the Josbaig valley and its villages. Departing from Géronce, the itinerary takes you on a journey of discovery through the 6 villages of the valley: Géronce, Saint-Goin, Geüs, Préchacq, Aren and Orin.
Heritage, the banks of the Gave, panoramic views of the Pyrenees, history and stories to share with family and friends, the trail runs all year round. At the end of the adventure, you can win a "Ziclou, au bord de l'eau" badge! Also available in a "countryside" version on other routes.
Bring your bike and helmet. The circuit alternates between trails and small roads. Prefer mountain bikes.

At the entrance of the Ossau Valley, on the heights of the village of Ogeu-les-bains, this rental is located 10 minutes from Oloron Sainte-Marie and 20 minutes from Pau. Semi-independent, this house has been tastefully restored: exposed beams, old stones, while enjoying refined comfort. The balcony terrace opening onto the Pyrenees mountain range, is a real asset for your barbecues in the shade of the oak and your calm evenings full of freshness. On the ground floor, you will be able to enter your vehicle and other personal belongings under your dwelling. In the garden, you will benefit from the petanque ground or the relaxation area near the ornamental pool. Katia, the owner of the place, will share with you her passion for flowers and cacti.
Patrick and Corinne welcome you in one of their five Bed and Breakfast rooms (awarded 3 "keys"), in this old parsonage dating from the XVIIIth century, in the heart of the Medieval city. Right from the entrance, the tone is set: old stones and woodwork mix with wrought iron elements, creating a warm atmosphere. Here, you will enjoy the relaxing lounge, the card table, TV, the reading area and, in winter, the authentic Bearnese fireplace.
Outside, you will discover a priest's garden and our organic kitchen garden to delight the taste-buds. In the evening, you can enjoy our friendly "table d'hôte" and our local specialties... as well as the chef's surprises!
Thanks to the visit of the weaving workshop Lartigue, you will know better the different steps of production of the traditional linen. You will discover the transformation of the thread in a multitude of colored clothes, then the making of numerous finished products. The collection is presented in the shop.
5 minutes from Oloron Sainte-Marie, Olivier's farm specializes in raising Gascon ewes and pigs. Store and farm visit. The ewes summer in the Vallée d'Aspe, and the cheeses are made in the traditional way (still pressed by needle). They are matured on the farm using the Béarnaise method. Our black pigs are raised in the open air under our chestnut and oak groves, and fed on whey and cereals produced directly on the farm.
A warm welcome and a wide choice of farm products: cured meats, Gascon pork charcuterie, ewe's milk cheese, greuil, Pyrenean suckling lamb, ready-made meals and fresh meat for your grills.

The Cities of Art of History are area which are particularly focused on the promotion and development of their heritage and architecture, member of a national network led by the Ministry for Culture and Communication. Each labelled town offers exploration activities: Guided tours, exhibitions, educational services…. As well as the city’s built heritage, there is also the natural, industrial and maritime heritage, and residents’ memories.
In the Atlantic-Pyrenees, Haut-Béarn offers infinite possibilities to highlight the heritage through Piémont Oloronais and the three Béarn valleys, Aspe, Ossau and Barétous. Located in Oloron Sainte-Marie, in the heart of the historic capital of the Haut-Béarn, at the confluence of the Aspe and Ossau gorges, this site was first home to craft activities and then industrial activities including the Bedat sandal factory. A good gateway to the Bearnaise Pyrenees!

In the company of Zacquet, lost on the road to Santiago de Compostela, discover the town of Oloron Sainte-Marie: the medieval district of Sainte-Croix, with its Grède tower and Bellevue promenade, the Sainte-Marie district with its UNESCO-listed cathedral and Romanesque carved portal. Finally, the route takes you to the confluence of the Gaves, where you can admire the Equerre d?argent award-winning media library.

Southwest of Pau and 50 km from Spain, Oloron Sainte-Marie is a town in Haut-Béarn at the foot of the Pyrenees. Surrounded by hills, the town spreads out on the terraces of the alluvial plain of the Gave d'Ossau: Sainte-Marie district on the plateau, Sainte-Croix on the hill and Notre-Dame or Marcadet on the slopes of the right bank of the Gave. An organization to be admired from the Laclau bridge, one of the viewpoints over the city.
The rich heritage of Oloron Sainte-Marie, including the Sainte-Marie Cathedral, and 2000 years of history (the masting path, the Basque beret and linen industry, the gastronomy of Béarn, ...) have earned it its classification as a City of Art and History. Visits to the Cathedral Treasury, the Tour de Grède or the Maison du Patrimoine are enriched by a stroll along the Bellevue promenade with its open view of the Pyrenees.
