Marina of La Rochelle

The marina of La Rochelle was created in 1972 and is one of the largest marinas in the world and in Europe.
Only 15 minutes' walk from the historic center of La Rochelle, the port is ideally located for all boaters on a stopover: connections to the city center provided by bus lines and the electro-solar sea bus . presence of a bicycle path and a landscaped pedestrian path. After 4 years of extension work the new infrastructures of the marina were inaugurated on 25 October 2014. Thus enlarged, it confirms its status among the largest ports in the world, with a capacity of reception brought to 5000 places afloat.
