Château Crabitey

Crabitey is a beautiful 18th century residence surrounded by vineyards, pine and chestnut trees. Mr Faye, the owner in the 1850s, devoted his estate to the education of orphans. On his death, he passed the property on to the Archbishopric of Bordeaux.
In 1872, the Franciscan Sisters of Seillon arrived at Crabitey, where they taught the children the vine and wine trade and devoted themselves to their education. The wine business developed and the wine of Crabitey acquired a certain reputation.
In 1982, Jean-Ralph de Butler, an agricultural engineer, arrived and his mission was to professionalize the wine business. He was joined in 1998 by his son, Arnaud. For 10 years, they will sublimate the wines of Crabitey. Then, when the sisters decided to sell the property, Arnaud bought this unique place
