Ship and Fish offers you fishing trips at sea with its Fishing Guide Instructor, Jérôme Rabin, a well-known figure in the world of fishing and lure fishing competitions.
A real moment of relaxation and passion, with an educational and professional guide.
Whether you like to fish short, medium or long sessions, you'll find what you're looking for in our
services. Jérôme, our fishing guide, who is experienced in teaching groups and individuals, will accompany and guide you in your choice of lures, movements and techniques.
You'll be able to fish for bass, speckled bass, meagre, mackerel and other species in the Charente channels.
From surface lures to the most advanced techniques, Jérôme will always try to find THE technique or the lure of the day to please you.

Departure is from the port of Ars-en-Ré, but it is possible to pick you up at Saint-Martin-de-Ré if you take the boat privately, or from the landing stage at La Patache (Les Portes-en-Ré)
You will be welcomed on a 6. 50m, equipped with a 150hp Suzuki engine and a livewell on board, so that you can keep fish on board, either to keep them at the end of your session, or to release them outside the active zones, so as not to frighten or stress the other fish on the spot.

Services and prices include:
- Boarding the boat
- The fishing guide instructor with a BPJEPS/UCC MER diploma
- The loan of all the equipment adapted to the technique practised and chosen, as well as the safety equipment
- Everyone is equipped with a self-inflating safety waistcoat (light and not at all cumbersome for practice) (compulsory on board)
- The bait, soft or hard lures, depending on the technique used and the species of fish targeted

Meals, rain gear, boots, raincoat or cap, sunglasses and sun cream are not included.
Breakage, damage or loss of equipment will be reimbursed at purchase price (excluding lures and within reasonable limits)

Keeping fish on board:
In compliance with the law, regulatory and biological sizes or meshes, as well as the resource and depending on the season, the fish caught may be kept for family consumption, the fishing guide reserves the right to keep or not in quantity and size.
- A fish tank on board the boat allows you to keep a few fish alive so that you can select a specimen
- The list of species of fish that can be caught is not exhaustive and is not binding
- A briefing is given before departure to tell you the mesh size, species and quantities of fish that can be kept

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sailor, everyone is welcome on board!
You can choose between ‘6-hour offshore trip’ or ‘8-hour wreck and open sea trip’
We can also tailor-make a trip to suit your requirements - just ask our guide for any specific requests!
Aboard our semi-rigid Tarpon DV65, named ‘LE BLEU’, equipped for fishing, with 2 Lowrance Elite 9FS echo sounders, a double-pump livewell to keep your fish alive until the final choice, either to keep one or to give it back its freedom outside the fishing zone!
Jérôme will use all his know-how and his pleasure in sharing to put you in the best possible conditions to catch your first fish at sea!
The equipment provided by our partners, such as the Breton company Kerfil, is of the highest quality for your enjoyment.
Meet 30 minutes before departure at the Ship and Fish shop in Ars-en-Ré.
The equipment is freely available, so bring a picnic if you need one.
Bring clothing for any change in weather (jumper, waterproof clothing,
