Le Curieux Orchestre performs on August 6 at 8:30pm in Aubeterre-sur-Dronne with États d'eaux et d'âmes, an original concert where classical music, film music and creative works meet around the theme of water. A fresh and poetic evening.
Le Curieux Orchestre, a collective of young professional musicians, invites you to take a sensitive and playful musical plunge into the theme of water, with the program États d'eaux et d'âmes. This original creation recounts the water cycle through its forms, movements and symbols, in a dialogue between nature, emotion and imagination.
Comprising 15 young musicians from prestigious ensembles, the Curieux Orchestre blends flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, strings, percussion and piano to create a richly colored and textured work. Together, they offer a fresh, inventive rereading of great classical works and film scores, alongside original compositions.
🎶 États d'eaux et d'âmes takes you from the quivering of a drop to the power of a river, from fog to storm, with pieces such as Smetana's La Moldau, excerpts from Ponyo (Joe Hisaishi), Ravel, and the classic Singing in the Rain. Each piece illustrates a facet of water: source, movement, metaphor, emotion.
🎻 Le Curieux Orchestre doesn't just play: it tells, shares and surprises. Its youth, sensitivity and joyful approach to music create a warm, lively atmosphere, where the audience is taken on a sonic adventure as delicate as it is playful.
🎟️ Book now to experience this aquatic, sensory odyssey, brought to life by a curious, talented and free generation. An extraordinary concert, at once poetic, accessible and deeply musical.
