Situated in the Charente Limousine, "Le gîte des 2 sabots" is a gite for 4 + 2 persons.
Open from May to mid october, this property comprises on the ground floor a large living room with a sofa bed and a kitchen.

On the first floor : 2 double bedrooms (2 beds 140x190cm) and one single futon.

There is also a travel cot for a baby.

Equipment : microwave, gas cooker, refrigerator with freezer, dish washer, washing machine, television (freeview), DVD player, patio, barbecue and a rear garden.

From july there will ba a swimming pool (7x4m) not heated.

Spend an interesting and exciting afternoon with our honeybees. Find out more about colonies and their importance to the environment, with hands-on experience of inspecting hives. Open on Monday afternoons, 1-4pm, from April until mid-October, weather permitting. The price is 20 euros per person which includes all equipment and protective clothing, refreshments and honey tasting. 3-day and 6-day courses are also available with accommodation included. Our ´gites & camping’ exists more than 20 years. After some renovations we have created a very pleasant campsite with 16 pitches and gites / rooms to rent. In our spacious garden you will find our swimming pool and children's area, as well as a petanque field.


In the environment there are many things to discover and visit. Canoeing is very popular, but don't forget the restaurants, the castle and all the trails for a nice walk or bike ride.

Chez Broche is a completely renovated and spacious farmhouse with a private lake and swimming pool.
Chez Broche sleeps 12 peaople in 5 bedrooms. Large modern kitchen, dining room seating 12 and loung with log burning fire. Spacious terrace and outside dining areas.

Beautiful tranquil location.

Constructed on a rocky promontory, this 13th and 15th century fortress was renovated in the 17th and 18th centuries. The Renaissance courtyard is bordered with an arched gallery and spiral columns. Inside the castle, you can see rare examples of 16th century frescoes. The first one depicts hunting scenes, and the second depicts certain episodes in the life of Heracles. Today, the castle houses the Departmental Museum of Contemporary Art.
