3 ha lake : Supervised swimming from 10 july to 25 august,, fishing, children’s games.

A team of volunteers came together, “armed” with axes and saws, and brought this area back to life, thanks to sculptures! “Art brut », spontaneous art, art that does not claim to be cultural nor intellectual, simply a contemporary garden. It is open to visitors for free, all year long. And if you would like to participate in this project, you are more than welcome to contact us !

189 ha lake : Supervised swimming, fishing, children’s games. Water-skiing allowed. Outdoor pursuits and holiday centre (open April to September) offering canoe and kayak hire (for individuals), sailing, lake excursions, hiking treks and cycling, in addition to activities relating to the environment, astronomy and energy (for groups).

Meymac, gateway town of the Regional Natural Park of Millevaches in Limousin, is classified as one of the "Most Beautiful Detours of France" and "Green Holiday Resort". Its medieval heart, built around the Saint-André abbey, its sloping blue slate roofs, its granite facades, make it a jewel in the green setting of its remarkable natural heritage, set with forests, pastures, peat bogs and breathtaking viewpoints.

Built on the edge of the Plateau de Millevaches, Meymac is one of the gems of the region, with its steep slate roofs, granite stone, a solidly built market hall and picturesque narrow streets running around a Benedictine abbey.

A not-to-be-missed event in the Limousin region, La Cité des insectes, a museum and gardens set in unspoilt surroundings, reveals the fascinating and little-known world of insects during surprising tours. Its mission: to awaken your awareness of this fauna essential to the planet's ecological balance. Sustainable development is at the heart of the site's concerns, as it seeks to draw inspiration from nature to create a world in balance.
On the program: treasure hunts and "family moments" with live insect handling and insect tasting, a cabinet of curiosities, the discovery of over 15,000 specimens, a giant cricket, anthills, a vivarium, and much more! A snack bar, store and guided tour (7/7 at 3pm during school vacations) complete the offer for the pleasure of the whole family. Whatever the weather, we're sure you'll have a great day!

Bernard Laurent welcomes you in his typical farm of the XVI century in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of Millevaches, in the Monédières. It produces mountain and monofloral honey, pollen, mead, honey vinegar, honey dried fruit confits, gingerbread...

Our chef, Alain Gourgues is a "Maître Restaurateur",. His cuisine is traditional and inventive, made with fine, local ingredients.

The ultimate family activity practiced outdoors, archery allows you to imagine yourself in the shoes of Robin Hood or William Tell.
It combines both concentration and relaxation and is aimed at all audiences from the age of 7/8 years.

To complete your discovery and develop breath and precision, try your hand at blowgun shooting. This activity is particularly suitable for the youngest.

Supervision must be provided by a qualified sports educator in a natural and secure environment.

The Lac des Bariousses in Treignac (99ha) is the ideal destination for a relaxing or sporty day out, with family or friends.



On site, you will find a beach with supervised swimming, picnic tables, children's games, a volleyball court, a bowling alley and a snack bar. It is also possible to stay in a 3-star campsite facing the lake.



The beach is accessible to all thanks to its PRM access (tapirail) and a TIRALO® amphibious swimming chair.



With the Station Sports Nature Vézère-Monédières, rent your canoe-kayak, your stand-up paddle, your pedal boat or your electric fishing boat. You can also try out all types of nature sports.



The beach of the Bariousses lake has been awarded the "Pavillon Bleu" (blue flag), a guarantee of good environmental quality.

The International Centre of Art and Landscape houses four contemporary art exhibitions as well as the Limousin art lending library, a specialised library and nine new residences for artists and researchers in the recently renovated castle.
