Camping hiver

Go camping all year long in Nouvelle-Aquitaine!

No, camping is not just for summertime holidays! Discover my selection of campsites open all year round. An opportunity to enjoy nature and the great outdoors to the full whatever the season.

1. On the doorstep of the Basque coast: Larrouleta 3* campsite

camping Larrouletta

Larrouleta campsite, located in Urrugne, just 3 kilometres from Saint-Jean-de-Luz and the Basque coastal path is the perfect start-off point for discovering the Basque Country. Set in a lush, green landscape, at the foot of the mountains, I definitely recommend this campsite. Here, there are no mobile homes, so come with your tent, your caravan or your campervan! Swimming pool open all year round, private lake to enjoy a bit of fishing and water-based pleasures, sports fields and a playground for children. Ever-so friendly atmosphere.

Camping La Ferme des 4 chênes

Discover the unique charm of a campsite located between the sea and mountains in Urt, 23 kilometres east of Bayonne. The Ferme des 4 Chênes campsite, northern of the Basque Country and a stone’s throw from Landes-Armagnac, is an amazing start-off point for discovering the south of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. On site: a swimming pool (heated in the summer), and a fitness area with cardio-training equipment. Why do I recommend it ? For its perfect location between fine-sandy beaches, authentic Basque villages, typical landscapes and breathtaking panoramas. The little extra? An on-site mini farm to delight younger visitors.

4. Deep in the heart of the Landes Forest : Blue Océan 4* campsite

Camping Blue Océan

The Blue Océan campsite in Ondres, between Bayonne and Anglet, is a must-not-miss address for nature holidays. This eco-labelled family campsite has been committed to sustainable tourism for years now. You’ll find over 200 wooden chalets, cottages, mobile homes and Kenya tents dotted around the pinewoods. The beach is less than a kilometre away. The site has a circus school, a surf school and areas dedicated to horse-riding, yoga, Pilates and dance. Sports fields, a skatepark, kids’ club and two chlorine-free swimming pools complete the offer.

Why do I recommend this campsite to you? For its family atmosphere and its deep commitment to the environment: the site has its own beehives, uses renewable energy, encourages non-motorized transport and eco-friendly initiatives. A FAVOURITE! Open from April to November.
