Free range goose breeding farm, force-feeding, canning, beekeeping, truffle farm, organic cereals, sheep, meats.
A bucolic setting where you can find the best of the best.
Our farm specialises in goose foie gras and is resolutely focused on traditional production methods. Our geese are reared from birth. Free-range, on grassy pastures, they are fed only non-GMO cereals from our own production before being force-fed exclusively with whole maize. Processing takes place in our laboratory, using local, family recipes. We have chosen direct sales as our only means of marketing, in order to keep in touch with our customers.
We welcome you to the farm every day of the year from 9am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to midnight. Weekends and public holidays by appointment. Tours and tastings for groups by prior arrangement.
Option to stay in gîtes or at the farm's campsite. Motorhome service (France Passion).

Les Vergers de la Guillou organises guided tours of the farm, walnut groves and its nut production.
These visits present the different stages of the walnut cultivation: the orchard, its maintenance, its harvest, its sorting, its drying... In other words, all the work carried out on the farm in order to obtain walnuts and kernels "AOP Noix du Périgord" (PDO Noix du Périgord).

15 km from the A89 motorway (exit 17), built on a rocky spur surrounded by a village, the Château de Hautefort reflects the rank and power of the Marquis of Hautefort. Its French garden and English park contribute to its reputation in the Périgord Noir. During your visit, enjoy the view of the boxwood gardens from the castle's circular walkway.
Punctuated by pruned shrubs and paths featuring plant sculptures, the flowerbeds of this formal garden, which opens onto a hilly panorama, are enhanced with different colours every year. Take a walk in the English-style park, created in the 19th century by the Count of Choulot, one of the greatest landscape designers of the time. Every year in June, "rendez-vous au jardin" is an opportunity to discover the gardens of the Château de Hautefort accompanied by the head gardener.
Château d’Hautefort is located 28 km north of Montignac and the Lascaux caves in the Vézère Valley of the Dordogne.
This fortress, which once belonged to Bertran de Born, is a blend of medieval defence features with a classical centre castle built between 1630 and 1670. The castle was transformed into a leisure manor in the 17th century, and today it houses a remarkable collection of period furniture from the 17th and 18th centuries. Includes an English-style park and French-style gardens designed by the Count of Choulot in the 19th century along terraces; the garden is now on the register of historic places.

Denis and Valérie invite you to discover their traditional Barbary duck breeding farm, real local products, in the countryside. Ducklings are raised under lamps, then reared outdoors, fattened with whole corn, canning workshop with our foie gras, pâtés, rillettes, confits, stuffed necks all are free from preservatives or colouring. Possibility of tasting and farm visit.
Leave your vehicle in our secure parking lot and take to the "voie verte", just 3 pedal strokes from the dealership (20 minutes from downtown Périgueux by bike).
