Located in a little village, 4km from Clairac, a totally restored former plum-drying barn, converted into the Romance guesthouse. On one level, with a small private garden, the rental is close to the owners’ house, on a working 120-acre farm.
Floor area: 43 m². 1 independent room with a double bed. Separate wash room with WC. Bed linen for hire. Baby equipment available (high chair, playpen, cot…). Living room/lounge with sofa bed, flat screen TV, DVD, WiFi, dining area. Small fully-fitted open kitchen (Mwave, oven, Dishwr). Wmachine. Reversible air-conditioning. 126 m² private garden with garden furniture, sun loungers, BBQ. Farm visits to discover the animals (cows, pigs, pheasants,…).
Sale of beef and veal (blondes d'Aquitaine) in assortment from January to November.

Adjacent to another rental, this Gite, located on the banks of the river Lot, will give you ample opportunity to discover the surrounding area and take in some sightseeing in a very pleasant setting.
Family business, producer of prunes guaranteed without preservatives. Sale at the farm. Prune pulp with no added sugars, sparkling without alcohol, prune nougat and a range of organic products. Picnic area, camper van area, inflatable games for children, tea room, ice cream bar.
This mooring area is in the village itself, on the right bank of the river. It has a concrete quay for mooring and a wooden landing stage.
The farm raises poultry and grows cereals for their food. Chicken, guinea fowl, can and rabbit, live or ready to cook, to order.
Plum drying on site (visit) thus offering dry and semi-cooked prunes.
In season, strawberries, melons, asparagus, as well as various vegetables.
Automatic lock on the right bank of the river. The lock keepers at Castelmoron-sur-Lot, Buzet-sur-Baïse and Villeneuve-sur-Lot provide free cards for access to the lock.
Service area including a site with drinking water and drainage and two parking spaces free but limited to 24 hours.
Any parking longer than this period can be done at the Camping de la Plage located 200 meters away.

France’s only Prune Museum tells the story of the prune, which was brought over from the Orient and came to thrive in Lot-et-Garonne. A video shows visitors how the fruit is cultivated over the season, and museum mascot Mam’zelle Prune invites families to take part in a fun-filled educational tour of the orchards. In summer, visitors can get lost in the jungle of corn, a treasure hunt which winds around the 1,500 m² of land. There is a special torchlight evening every Monday and Thursday, starting at 9pm in July and at 8.30pm in August. The site has direct access to the Lot, with a floating landing stage on the left bank of the river.
This museum houses a unique collection which tells the history of the prune. The museum spans several rooms: the first displays a reconstruction of an early 20th century drying room with its different oven and drying kilns, showing how prunes are dried; the second room shows how the prunes are prepared and packaged in a workshop displaying the original machines and tools, and the third and final room houses a rare collection of original packaging, documents and archives, as well as a collection of ceramics and yokes. A video rounds off the visit, showing how prunes are grown and marketed in the present day.

On the edge of the Lot, close by the Prune Museum, this free area can welcome 15 vehicles.
