This bike ride, on the greenway linking the Périgord to the Bordeaux region, allows you to discover the Isle river which runs for 180 km in the department before flowing into the Dordogne at Libourne.
This river has been fitted out with canals and locks for the transport of goods by flat-bottomed boats.
The mill of Duellas, today a place of reception, animations and boat trips, was also used as a relay for the boatmen.
Shared roads and bicycle paths allow to reach the country of Gurson.
The castle of Gurson, of which only vestiges remain, used to watch over the surrounding villages, and has for some years now dominated a lake that has been converted into a departmental leisure center.
A vineyard reborn
After much patient, meticulous and passionate work, Château de Peyrel was restored to its original winemaking vocation in 2013. Our wines are elaborated in keeping with traditional craftsmanship, preserving both the plant and its fruit, in order to produce natural products of the highest gustative and aromatic quality.
Surrounded by an attractive park, with a small lake as an added attraction, there are 8 upmarket wooden chalets and 3 gypsy caravans waiting for you to make the most of an original and out of the ordinary holiday, combining peace and quiet, comfort and well-being.
The Ferme de la Courte Echelle makes various beers, syrups, herbal teas, aromatic oils and vinegars, jams, breads....from its own productions.
You can buy or eat and drink all this at the "café point de vente".

The John and Eugenie Bost House is a museum of history: that of John Bost who arrived in the village of La Force in the Dordogne in the middle of the 19th century, creator of a unique place that is the John BOST Foundation, and that of the people who, yesterday and today, work or live there
It is also an art museum with artistic creations made by residents of the Foundation that mark the museographic journey.
Finally, it is a modern museum that is accessible to all: objects, photos and videos allow visitors to enter this singular universe where everyone has their place
"A museum to understand the difference".
Exhibition on art brut.
A water mill dating back to the 16th century, the Moulin de la Veyssière is the last working oil mill in the Vern Valley at Neuvic sur l'Isle. Jacques Elias bought the mill in 1857 and for 165 years, the history, passion and know-how have been passed down from generation to generation. We produce traditional oils and flours with character: walnut, hazelnut, almond and peanut. A real living heritage, a place for living and sharing, a visit to the mill will take you on a journey through history and gastronomy. Enhance your discovery of the mill with a museum area and an educational orchard. Enjoy a gourmet meal in our shaded picnic area. At the end of your visit, you'll be offered a tasting session. Discover our gourmet shop in the mill's old bakery.
Quality artisan producer Collège Culinaire de France.
The Moulin de la Veyssière, located in Neuvic, in the heart of the White Périgord, is the last operating mill in the Vern valley. We produce oils and flour: walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds. Our oils are made in a traditional way, according to a family know-how transmitted since 1857. Exclusively from local productions, our production is 100% French. We welcome you all year round at the Moulin de la Veyssière, in a friendly atmosphere! We offer you free 45-minute guided tours and you will discover all the secrets of our oils and our history. At the end of the tour, a tasting of our oils will be offered to you. You will find all our oils and flour, as well as a selection of gourmet home-made products in our shop located in the old bakery of the mill.
The Tuquet vineyard is an estate of 5 hectares, arranged in small plots and surrounded by meadows and woods, the vines are managed in organic farming.
For a qualitative viticulture, the most natural possible. Respecting biodiversity, on a human scale
Based on conviviality, welcome and taste. We strive to produce honest, healthy, atypical and non-standard wines.
The estate, located in Neuvic in the Dordogne, covers 20 hectares bordered by two rivers: the Isle and the Vern.
It was on this estate that Caviar de Neuvic chose to create a fish farm dedicated to breeding sturgeon to produce its famous caviar.
With humorous commentary and unusual anecdotes, the guide will explain how our modern farming methods respect both the fish and nature.
He will reveal the passion that drives us when we care for the sturgeon and make the caviar.
You'll be able to feed the fish and, with the equipment provided, stroke some large sturgeon.
The visit that follows will be enough to convince you that, with experience, farmed caviar has become better and healthier than the wild caviar that has now disappeared.
Lovely little wine property located at 5km north west away from Bergerac. Charles Blanc creates high quality wines there and relies on the diversity of the grape varieties and the vinification methods while respecting the environment.
This 15ha family vineyard, created in the XVIIth century, is located at 3kms of Bergerac, perched on a high outside sitting area of Dordogne valley. We welcome those who want to share our winemaker spirit. We propose a wide range of 7 wines declined in dry Bergerac, rosé, red and Rosette.
Located on the right bank of Dordogne, 5km away from Bergerac, the 8 ha vines of Domaine de Coutancie grow on Prigonrieux hillsides, orientated south. Representinf the 5th generation of winemakers on the exploitation, Nicole Maury followed the path of her family and gives a feminine touch to the estate, in particular by working in oenotourism. She opened a lodge then, with the help of her children and her husband Hervé (breeding Limousin and Blonde d’Aquitaine cows), she put in place friendly moment to familiarize yourself with the wines of Domaine de Coutancie (AOC Rosette, Bergerac red, dry, rosé or Côtes de Bergerac) and it’s possible to buy directly there.
