In Gironde, autumn comes with a beautiful light and fine, often sunny weather, perfect conditions for visiting the 10th edition of this annual festival. The perfect opportunity for you to go on your first hot air balloon flight over the rolling vineyards!
Once again, it's the perfect moment: as the balloons have limited capacity you'll be in direct contact with the pilot. This means you'll get to help out with the inflation and deflation, land on the edge of the vineyards, and generally live this aerostation initiation to the full.
Interested? You'll need to book fast for a 7:00 am morning flight or one in the evening, at 4:00 pm when the air is at its most stable. Everyone else can come and join in this colourful event...and take some great photos! Departure takes place at Parc Gaudet, north of Saint-Emilion.
