Between heritage and modernity, the Museum of Hemp and Gloves presents 2 permanent exhibitions through a guided tour, movies and demonstrations. The exhibition "Hemp yesterday and today", teaches about the history of the hemp, through old tools used in the 19th century in Limousin, but also its current applications. The exhibition "History of a pair of gloves" tells the story of Cognac the Cold (the Forest now) from 1924 to 1994. The city was an active center in the glove industry. The exhibition presents tools, machines and accessories allowing to manufacture a pair of skin gloves. On site there is also a shop of organic products based on hemp.
