Agen Museum of Fine Arts

Musée des Beaux-Arts d’Agen

Stroll around the 26 rooms where over 3,000 works of art are permanently on show, including masterpieces by Sisley, Corot, Tintoret and Boudin. Continue your discovery in the Church of the Jacobins where temporary exhibitions are held.

We highly recommend a visit to the key event exhibition “Goya à Agen” from 7 November 2019 to 10 February 2020! Over 40 works of art from museums from around the world (Paris, Budapest, Switzerland, Berlin, Spain, New York, etc.) will be showcased together in Agen’s heritage treasure – the Church of the Jacobins.

Discover the Natural Park of Passeligne, covering over 60 hectares, and its Passeligne and Pélissier Lakes less than 10 minutes from the centre of Agen. A relaxing place where biodiversity reigns supreme and invites you to enjoy a peaceful interlude. Head off on the 14 km of bikeways and walkways and have fun at the citystadiums, football and rugby pitches as well as volleyball courts and picnic tables

A must-stop address in Agen’s culinary landscape, delight in an amazing taste experience in Château Saint-Marcel concocted by Chef Arnault BALDERESCHI. Savour mouthwatering dishes created with local, seasonal produce… a pure treat for the eyes and the taste buds.
Enjoy your meal in an idyllic setting, a timeless oasis. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 12pm to 2pm and from 7pm to 9pm.
