Sur un Arbre Perché (On a Perched Tree) - La Cabane des Énigmes (The Enigma Hut)
Have you ever dreamed of sleeping in a tree house?
This unusual experience is now possible in Pons, on the magnificent site of the Château d'Usson (Le Château des Énigmes/ The Castle of riddles).
Five huts await you for a magical night, suspended between heaven and earth. Our cabins are perched between 5 and 11 metres high and can accommodate both young and old adventurers.
Three "couple" cabins will allow you to spend a romantic night together, lulled by the rustling of the leaves. Two "family" cabins welcome families of up to five people and children from two years old.
The huts are without water but equipped with electricity and dry toilets. In the morning, your breakfast will be placed at the foot of your tree, and all you have to do is hoist it up and enjoy it on your terrace, while admiring the morning ballet of the squirrels.
A bathroom is available in the castle and toilet blocks with shower facilities are available 24 hours a day.
An original adventure, in the heart of nature, ideal for strengthening ties, as a couple or as a family!
We offer a hearty picnic basket that will delight young and old alike. All our baskets are prepared by us with a selection of local products.
Good plan: the entrance fees for the game courses of the Château des Énigmes are at a preferential rate for all our guests in the hut!
The tree houses were awarded the Grand Prix Charente-Maritime du Développement Durable (Charente-Maritime Grand Prix for Sustainable Development) in 2013.
The Thousand and One Nights Hut is a small oriental palace suspended 7m high in a double-trunk oak tree. It is hidden in the woods of the Château d'Usson park and is perfect for a romantic getaway for a night or two. It is our most spacious cabin for couples. It is ideal for a cocooning evening under the canopy.
