Specialized in the direct marketing of numerous varieties of apples, the estate is also devoted to deer breeding. The products on display include: many types of apples, apple juice, sparkling juice available from the outset of September through mid-May. It may be possible to pick apples in the orchards. In addtion: pâtés, beef rillettes, sausages, cooked dishes and venison (deer leg). in the farm store, you will find local products: eggs, goat cheese, duck, honey...

In the enchanting setting of the Domaine du Château des Loups, located on both sides of the Sèvre Niortaise, you will stay in the castle’s outbuildings.

A chain boat allows to cross the Sèvre Niortaise at the end of the course. It is in service from April 1st to October 31st, only by day. Don’t start this circuit too late!

The Ricou quarry, a remarkable natural heritage on all scales. From the earth to the sky, the site conceals many treasures. For example, the quarry face, recognised at regional level, illustrates certain geological periods and bears witness to the presence of the sea, thanks to the discovery of ammonites in particular. In addition, the seven natural habitats that make up the quarry are home to remarkable flora and fauna, including some protected species. This is the case of the Serpolet's Azure, a butterfly associated with the oregano of the dry grasslands located above the quarry face. The site offers a wide view of the surrounding hedged farmland and the Sèvre Niortaise valley.

In order to preserve the richness of its heritage, the Ricou quarry is registered as a Sensitive Natural Area at the departmental level.
