Description

A real 17 km long green corridor open only to hikers in the heart of the Périgord Vert, the route follows the old Thiviers-St Pardoux railway line dating from the 19th century, inviting you to discover the landscape and the heritage. The route invites you to discover the landscape but also the heritage. At the bend in the shadows of the deciduous forests, the wild valleys of the Côle and the Dronne come into view. You can admire the botanical treasures along the way.
Along the way, don't miss a visit to Saint-Jean-de-Côle, one of the most beautiful villages in France.nearby, the villages of Saint-Romain and Saint-Clément, Saint-Martin de Fressengeas, Milhac-de-Nontron will welcome you, as well as Thiviers and Saint-Pardoux-La-Rivière will offer you services and activities.A route that lends itself to all forms of hiking, walking, mountain biking, horse riding.
