In the heart of Béarn, the Gallo-Roman Museum of Claracq is the only site museum exclusively devoted to ancient archaeology in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques.
The archaeological excavations of the Gallo-Roman villa of Lalonquette have revealed the remains of a sumptuous and prestigious residence. These discoveries are exhibited and preserved in the museum, which reveals the history of the site and highlights the habits and customs of its inhabitants.
