14 km south of Sarlat, overlooking the Dordogne River, Domme is classified " one of the most beautiful villages in France". It is a bastide Town founded in 1281. The village follows the shape of the hilltop bordered by cliffs where it rises . It has a rich medieval and renaissance heritage, such as the house of the Currency Maker (XIIIth century), the ramparts (XIVth century), the monumental door and its misterious graffiti.
