Château de Duras - Château des Ducs

Overlooking the Dropt valley, in the heart of the Lot-et-Garonne region, Château de Duras has spanned the history of France. An atypical monument, it combines the Middle Ages, the 17th century and the French Revolution. Since it was bought by the Duras town council in 1969, the château has been living to the rhythm of restoration work.
Visitors can explore history and architecture in the 30 restored rooms of this listed historic monument, and discover the secret passage, the ghost room and the model room. The apartments of the Duke and Duchess, finally refurnished thanks to a partnership with the Mobilier National, allow you to immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the 17th century. To round off your visit, take advantage of the balconies and passageways that go around the château.
