The BOURGOIN family vineyard has existed since 1930 and extends over several crus 9 km away from Angoulême. This small house produces atypical cognacs. Their vision is a natural approach to winemaking, transparency and innovation.
Beef and veal
Direct selling of beef, Charolais and Limousine breed.
In charge of a 180 cows farm, Christophe Gendronneau opened in 2009 a laboratory in his farm to develop his business and increase the value of his beef. Although he is in a responsible agriculture, he also uses inputs from organic agriculture to cultivate 200ha of lands and cereal fields. The animals are exclusively fed with farm products. Christophe hopes to open soon a producers' shop with a butcher's and a bakery.
Direct selling at the farm from wednesday to saturday, from 8:00am to noon.

Looking for a place to eat? Stop off at the Chadurie picnic area, just a few meters from the village hall. The area is shaded and has green areas to lie down.
There are four wooden tables around the village hall. There is a small garden where you can take a walk and enjoy a digestive stroll. If you still have time, visit the old village wash house on the other side of the D438. Be careful when crossing the road!

Since 1984, Gaec Du Plantier in Magnac-Lavalette-Villars has been a family farm specialising in beef production.
Passed down from generation to generation, it is now run by the Migné family, the father and his two sons Alexandre, Florent and Dominique.
The farm, which became a GAEC in 2018, devotes 150 ha of land (meadows) to rearing cows and 110 ha to growing cereals.
The herd numbers 130 cows and 350 animals in total, including calves and heifers.
To meet consumer demands, we adopt farming methods that respect the environment and animal welfare.
We are committed to guaranteeing you mature meat that is rich in flavour and of high environmental value.

During a complete visit, you will discover the processes of vinification and double distillation in Charente as well as the secrets of aging and blending in the cellars of the Domaine.

Thierry Vadi is present in the Charente markets and in the Local Producers' Markets (Marchés de Producteurs de Pays). He sells chickens ready to cook and roasted chickens according to your taste.
