In the Basque Country, in the charming village of URT, overlooking the ADOUR river. If you follow the Adour to the west for about 17km you will arrive in Bayonne and 5km further is the mouth of the river and the beaches of Anglet. The beaches and villages of South Landes are quickly accessible thanks to the Adour bridge below the village of Urt. Mountains and typical Basque villages less than 20km away
An organic blueberry orchard opens a few doors to public for the blueberry's harvesting. The atmosphere is fliendly and young and old alike meet to share a good moment in family or with friends. The harvesting takes place during 5 weeks, from mid-june to the beginning of august in Cambo-les-Bains.
EARL Le Bosquet, under the name La Boite à Canard, is a family-run duck and beef farm, created in 1984 by Jacques Diribarne in Urt (15 km from Bayonne). Since 2015, a workshop for the processing and direct sale of duck products has been set up on the family property

The Gozategia bar-restaurant is located on the Place du Fronton, 6km from the Oxocelhaya caves, 6km from the village of Labastide-Clairence and 5km from the town of Hasparren. It offers a warm and friendly welcome. The chef offers traditional cuisine using fresh, seasonal produce, with a different menu every day and suggestions on the slate. After a walk on Mount Abarratia, you can enjoy the beautiful terrace.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, you can enjoy tapas to share, complemented by a burger or a combo platter.

The day begins with a stroll along the banks of the Adour and in the middle of the Aquitaine polders that are the barthes, ideal for bird watching. From Guiche, a tributary of the river, the Bidouze, offers itself as a guide in this crossing of the Pyrenean piedmont. The ports of Guiche, Bidache or Came keep the memory of the river trade of yesteryear, while the bucolic towpaths draw their curves in symbiosis with the meanders of the Bidouze. Almost halfway along the route, the route suddenly rises above Came; the Pyrenees loom large on the horizon, and climbs and descents follow one another. The perched villages have beautiful heritage assets, the influence of Basque architecture becomes more present as we approach Saint-Palais, a picturesque little town and a pleasant stopover on the banks of the Bidouze.
Classified as a Sensitive Natural Space since the 80's and property of the department of the Atlantic Pyrenees, the hill of the sheepfold represents a parenthesis of greenery in the heart of an urbanized area for the inhabitants of Cambo les Bains. Formerly high place of holiday, the castle which dominated the massif disappeared today but the English garden arranged at the time continues to delight young and old with its species of exotic trees of a remarkable diversity.
At the top, after having enjoyed an unobstructed view of the Basque mountains and walked along the avenue of hundred-year-old trees, you will reach the educational building "Elondare". Contraction of "Elorri Mendi" which means "the mountain of hawthorn" and "ondarea", "heritage", this building is intended to welcome the public for the purpose of biodiversity awareness.

This hike, accessible to all, begins on the banks of the Adour, at the old fishing port of Urt. You'll notice its paved slipway with steps to enable boats to be loaded and unloaded whatever the water level of the Adour, subject to the tides. It's a place steeped in history, where salmon and shad fishermen live on. After wandering along the banks of the Adour, the route heads inland, discovering under the trees the Ardanavy river, a secret tributary of the Adour river, and the Etchepette barthes, flooded woods. A sensitive and original natural environment where biodiversity is fully expressed: water irises, water lilies, willows, plane trees and alders, egrets and herons, discreet otters and cistude turtles.
