Log cabin village comprising 16 log cabins scattered in a park planted with trees and equipped with a swimming-pool, in a fenced and safe environment which is perfect for young children. Quiet and homelike atmosphere.
At the foot of the Pyrenees, at the confluence of the Ossau, Aspe and Barétous valleys, 5 minutes from Oloron Sainte-Marie, 60 dairy cows of all breeds enjoy the green pastures of Gurmençon.
Farm visits and direct sales of farmhouse cow's milk cheeses: Gourmançon and Henri IV's Crown, and their brothers: Petit Gourmançon and pouquets, plain and with peppers. Faisselle, fromage blanc and crème fraîche complete the raw-milk range. Farm churn butter made with organic raw milk. Organic since May 2019.
5 minutes from Oloron Sainte-Marie, Olivier's farm specializes in raising Gascon ewes and pigs. Store and farm visit. The ewes summer in the Vallée d'Aspe, and the cheeses are made in the traditional way (still pressed by needle). They are matured on the farm using the Béarnaise method. Our black pigs are raised in the open air under our chestnut and oak groves, and fed on whey and cereals produced directly on the farm.
A warm welcome and a wide choice of farm products: cured meats, Gascon pork charcuterie, ewe's milk cheese, greuil, Pyrenean suckling lamb, ready-made meals and fresh meat for your grills.
Patrick and Corinne welcome you in one of their five Bed and Breakfast rooms (awarded 3 "keys"), in this old parsonage dating from the XVIIIth century, in the heart of the Medieval city. Right from the entrance, the tone is set: old stones and woodwork mix with wrought iron elements, creating a warm atmosphere. Here, you will enjoy the relaxing lounge, the card table, TV, the reading area and, in winter, the authentic Bearnese fireplace.
Outside, you will discover a priest's garden and our organic kitchen garden to delight the taste-buds. In the evening, you can enjoy our friendly "table d'hôte" and our local specialties... as well as the chef's surprises!
The Cities of Art of History are area which are particularly focused on the promotion and development of their heritage and architecture, member of a national network led by the Ministry for Culture and Communication. Each labelled town offers exploration activities: Guided tours, exhibitions, educational services…. As well as the city’s built heritage, there is also the natural, industrial and maritime heritage, and residents’ memories.
In the Atlantic-Pyrenees, Haut-Béarn offers infinite possibilities to highlight the heritage through Piémont Oloronais and the three Béarn valleys, Aspe, Ossau and Barétous. Many visits are organised for children and for adults with a guide. Worth another look, in detail: Oloron-Sainte-Marie, La Pierre-Saint-Martin, Laruns, Artouste-Fabrèges, Eaux-Bonnes, Gourette and Arudy
Where the Aspe, Ossau and Barétous valleys meet, at the edge of the Pyrenees National Park, you will find the hotel AU BON COIN, in the heart of peaceful and luxuriant nature.
We offer you 17 cosy and comfortable bedrooms in a quiet natural place that ensures relaxation and well-being. In Summer, our spacious swimming-pool will enable you to bask in the sun or swim in a verdant setting.

The cathedral, listed by the Unesco as World Heritage, is the highlight of the episcopal see. Its romanesque doorway was made by two sculptors in the XIIth century. The nave, the ambulatory and the choir are gothic (XIVth and XVth centuries).
Exceptional exhibition in the Treasure.
Pedestrian walk from the car park "Monseigneur Saurine", thematic gardens, exhibition in the passage "Monseigneur Saurine" which leads to the cathedral square.
Where the Aspe and Ossau valleys meet, quite near the city centre and the shops, the Gîtes du stade campsite welcomes you with its 110 camping sites and 10 gîtes sleeping 4 persons. In the high season, the rates include the access to the nautical stadium.
Don't be in a hurry to leave Oloron, the beautiful old capital of the Haut-Béarn region. But when you finally do, from the top of Sainte-Croix, you'll face the indentation that the Gave d'Aspe has carved into the Pyrenean wall. The path you're about to take follows this very indentation.
Beforehand, it will have wandered through the countryside. Suddenly, you enter a deep, intimate gorge, barely interrupted at Sarrance, a Mecca of Christianity as well as ancient Pyrenean religion? Just as suddenly, it opens out into the immense breath of air that is the Bedous plain.
This route is proposed by the Comité Régional de Randonnée Pédestre. Departing from a train station or TER bus stop, it allows you to join a walking or hiking itinerary, and take a stroll in ecomobility!
You will receive a warm welcome in this modern and highly comfortable hotel with spacious, entirely air-conditioned bedrooms (some of which include a spa bathroom). A gourmet restaurant, where the Chef, Christophe Dodard, will suggest you some dishes all prepared with local products.
We will organise any leisure activity (rafting, 4x4, quad, paragliding...) for your seminars.
Fitness suite with spa and sauna.
On the routes to Santiago de Compostela, between Oloron Sainte-Marie and Pau, you will find Estialescq, a village nestling in some verdant hills. At the foot of the vineyards of Jurançon, a few strides away from the Aspe and Ossau valleys and the Pyrenees National Park.
This farm dating back to the 18th century, which is entirely made of pebbles from the Gave river, has been transformed - as if by magic - into the Naba guesthouse. A park planted with trees and flowers, as well as some comfortable and stylish bedrooms, will offer their guests a peaceful but friendly stay. Indeed, Jeanne, the lady of the house, enjoys welcoming, sharing and introducing her guests to some local treasures.
A young winemaker in the Jurançon AOC, Mathieu Lacanette-Naba welcomes you to Domaine Naba in Estialescq, 10 minutes from Oloron Sainte-Marie. After studying viticulture and ecology, Mathieu decided to plant his first vines in 2008, where they had been uprooted a few years earlier, on a south-facing clay-limestone soil free of all cultivation, facing the Pyrenees.
Four cuvées have been created: a first dry "Estia", a blend of Gros Manseng, Courbu, Lauzet and Petit Manseng; a second dry "Marlère", a blend of Petit Manseng and Gros Manseng, vinified and aged in barrels; a sweet "Brana", composed mainly of Gros Manseng; and a mellow "Milord", composed mainly of Petit Manseng. Mathieu will share his wine with you in his cellar, a beautifully renovated family barn typical of the Béarn region, as well as his passion for winemaking.

This beautiful loop follows the signposted "Tour du Dolmen" trail, with an extension from the station. It allows you to discover the Béarn countryside surrounded by the foothills of the Pyrenees.
Away from the beaten track, it has a few surprises in store: it passes through 2 remarkable villages, a dolmen - the largest in the département - and a section of the Chemin du Piémont Pyrénéen, following in the footsteps of pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela.
This route is proposed by the Comité Régional de Randonnée Pédestre. Departing from a train station or TER bus stop, it allows you to join a walking or hiking itinerary, and take a stroll in ecomobility!
The first sections of the Ossau Valley greenway/bike route have been completed. It will eventually link Buzy to Eaux-Bonnes and will cross 9 municipalities.
To date, 13 km of cycle route (Buzy/Bielle and Geteu/Laruns station sections) with rest areas equipped with multifunctional bicycle terminals. A very easy bike ride at the foot of the mountains, at the entrance of the green Ossau valley, on a greenway that took over from an old railroad. It has a bucolic landscape dimension on the edge of the powerful river Gave that comes down from the mountains, but also a heritage dimension.
